Do you love kids & Animals?
THEN YOU SHOULD WORK WITH KIDS AS THEY HELP ANIMALS!
Animal Care & Control of NYC (AC&C) is fortunate enough to have over 50 compassionate and responsible youth volunteers at our shelters walking the dogs, socializing the cats, and helping them get adopted.
WE NEED ADULTS TO VOLUNTEER THREE HOURS ONCE A WEEK OR EVERY OTHER WEEK TO SUPERVISE A TEAM OF FOUR YOUTHS.
Why You Should Take Part In This Program?
- The students are wonderful, and inspiring to work with
- You will assist the youths as they care for the animals.
- You will enable this program to succeed in developing youths' empathy for animals, and ensuring that the animals receive much needed attention and love.
- You will assist the youths in developing essential life skills and learning to be responsible in a work environment.
WE NEED ADULT VOLUNTEER YOUTH SUPERVISORS AT THE FOLLOWING TIMES:
Brooklyn Care Center, 2336 Linden Boulevard
Saturdays: 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm; 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Sundays: 10:00 am – 1:00 pm;
Manhattan Care Center, 326 E. 110 Street
Saturdays: 9:00 am – 12:00 pm; 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Staten Island Care Center, 3139 Veterans Road West
Weekdays, 4:00 – 7:00 pm, and Weekends
