Volunteer opportunities are now available for those under 18 as long as a parent or guardian accompanies these volunteers.Ý What a great way to strengthen the family bond.ÝÝÝÝ Parentís who participate in their childís volunteering experiences strengthens family communication; provide valuable bonding time while the family can make a contribution by helping some of the lost and homeless pets in our community.
Administrative:Ý Help with ìbehind the scenesî work, helping at the Park Place administrative offices. Development/Grant writing: Help raise money for our four-legged friends, by lending expertise in areas such as fundraising and/or grant writing. New Hope Assistant:Ý Help the busy New Hope department with administrative duties orÝ transporting animals. Off-site Events Volunteer: Help showcase our wonderful adoptable pets to potential adopters. Media Animal Groomer/bather: Groom animals 1 day prior to media events. Help needed mostly on Fridays. Professional Groomers: If you are a professional groomer, AC&C is looking for your help! Dog Adoption Room Assistant: Assist potential adopters find the right dog for their home. Cat Adoption Room Assistant: Showcase great cats and help adopters with the adoption process. Media Events Assistant: Assist with television and press events Customer Service: Show your people savvy and help in lobbies of the care centers to direct traffic and to assistÝÝ customers. Photography Assistants: Volunteers would help take pictures of our animals available for adoption in theÝ Care Centers and/or off-site adoption events.
