This velvety sweetheart may be named for a would-be prince but while royally adorable, our Aladdin is closer to a warm teddy bear. In fact, on the coldest of days you'd be hard-pressed to find a warmer heart; or a more polite sit, or sillier smile, or more deserving soul. Aladdin was initially quite shy with new friends at the shelter but has since blossomed into quite the social butterfly, greeting me with nothing but soft nuzzles on a recent afternoon, and wagging and smiling at all who crossed our path. And hold on to your heart when he sits without being asked and raises one vanilla-tipped paw like the most adorable flamingo, and begs for the chance to make your wishes come true. Aladdin is waiting in adoptions at Manhattan ACC.
