Bunny's foster writes: A typical day starts with Bunny giving me a hug and kisses, to start a new great day. She is always happy to go on a walk and shows that with a big smile and wagging tail but sits down oh so calmly as we put on her leash. Bunny is a medium-large sized dog with an incredible fur and a super sweet face. She gets a ton of attention on the street and is happy to spread positivity in the form of smiles and kisses to whomever is interested! On a recent walk, I encountered an ACC volunteer, who emailed, "she is very friendly, and came right over to me and my friend on the park bench and let us pet her, and even solicited food from us." She already knows some basic commands, like sit, paw, and down and learns quickly especially when treats are involved (and even makes an adorable nomnomnom sound when she snacks!). She is also housebroken and a great leash walker. She does get a bit excited near squirrels but it is easy to distract her with treats as she is food motivated. Bunny has a medium-high level of activity, and really likes to go on long walks, play tug of war, people watch on a bench, go for car rides or take a shower! When at home, she is pretty relaxed. While she enjoys curling up next to you while watching Netflix, she is also okay just hanging out on the couch on her own while you work.
