Cinnamon has displayed high levels of social behavior toward handlers while in the care center, often jumping up to solicit petting and handling. Cinnamon was reported by the previous owner to frequently get into scuffles with the other dog in the home. It has also been reported by the owner that she has made attempts to run toward and bite other dogs. In the care center, Cinnamon has been responsive to treats during basic cue training in low-distraction environments, however is difficult to refocus with treats during outside walks. She has displayed reactivity to dogs on leash, lunging toward them and continuing to pull hard when attempting to walk in the opposite direction. We recommend a single-pet foster home for Cinnamon that is equipped to work on her reactivity using positive reinforcement training. It is recommended that Cinnamon be kept far away from other dogs, and muzzled during outside walks due to high levels of reactivity observed, and owner reports of biting other dogs.

Need some flavor in your days? A little spice in your life? If you'll tell me how cute I am, you're in for a wiggle fest! My name is Cinnamon and I love petting and attention. I think I'd make the BEST best friend! I have to admit I'm not a fan of dogs but I do love people. I get a little nervous in new places sometimes but if you'll give me the time and patience I'll give you all my love. I've got a good amount of energy if you want an outing but I'm a top notch hangout-at-home buddy so whatever you prefer, I'm in!
