A volunteer writes: Girl is our cute caped crusader, with a Batgirl-like black mask over the mostly white fur on her adorable face. This 3-year-old comes to us from a home. She was brought in with her sister cat, who she did not want to be away from. (We kept them in the same carrier to help make her transition to the Care Center smoother.) Girl arrived very reserved, but since she's been with us she's become more relaxed-she allows petting and sniffs treats, and she shows no aggression or bad behavior. Still, she's unsure of her surroundings and hesitant about who she can trust. We have a strong feeling that behind Girl's shy demeanor is a confident superhero of a cat just waiting for the right pet parents to help her feel secure enough to show it. Up for the challenge of giving Girl a new start and a forever home where she'll feel cherished and loved? Come meet our Girl today! Girl's foster writes: It took Girl a few days to warm up to us, but now she never wants to stop hanging out. When we are in the living room where she is staying, she is always on the couch with us looking for affection. When we leave the room, she tries to call us back. She loves scratches and pets, and she loves to curl up in a ball and use one of us as her pillow. She would definitely thrive in a home with someone who wants a cat to spend time with and maybe talk to (she will talk back). Girl has also been a good eater and a good litter box user who will put up with a bit of handling, so a pretty easy cat all in all.
