Riley was brought into the Manhattan care center by police officers. She was reported to display friendly, social behavior upon pickup. When attempting to remove her from transport, officers stated that Riley became defensive and began to growl, eventually biting the police officer who attempted to remove her from the vehicle. The officer sustained small scratches. Riley has opened up and become social with select handlers, though remains cautious in the care center. She was uncomfortable during her handling assessment and raised her lip at the assessor. Riley Quinn would succeed best in an adult only foster home that is comfortable managing her fearful behavior around strangers and new situations. She should be given time to decompress at her own pace in a low traffic environment.

My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!

I would do best in a home with only adult humans.

I can be slow to adjust to new people and environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.
