Romeo

  • ID# 74955

  • Dog

  • Brooklyn Animal Care Center

A volunteer writes: Like his namesake, Romeo is a handsome lover! But instead of Juliet, this Romeo is in love with tennis balls, playing with the water hose, the companionship of people and long walks. Romeo is a strong boy, so the staff gave him his own harness, which makes it much easier to walk him. When I walked him, he pulled at first but then calmed down to enjoy our stroll. He happily gobbled up all my treats, which could make training him a lot easier for his adopter. I even had a chance to reunite Romeo with his first love: tennis balls. If you are lucky enough to play with Romeo, he might try to stuff two tennis balls in his mouth at the same time, which is a hilarious talent I have not seen before! If you have space in your home and in your heart for a high-energy dog who wants to be your best friend, come meet Romeo. A staff member adds: Romeo is a HUGE romantic. Despite his royal status he enjoys the simple things in life: toys and attention. He is patiently waiting for his happily ever after. If you have some space in your home and your heart come down to Brooklyn ACC and meet this lover boy. He will surely steal your heart.
