A volunteer writes: Zeus might be as handsome as an ancient Greek god, but he looks to me like a tender and goofy big brown bear! He is a bit shy at first. A stroll to the park gets him in a cheery mood! What's not to like? Ruffling the leaves, leaving his scent, eyeing the squirrels, giving them a short chase (they are too fast for Zeus) and nearing other pooches at the dog run. Sadly, we can not join them, but Zeus anyway enjoys his time out. He is quite obedient, sits at the sight of treats (he is polite taking them), comes when called and even gives a little run after a tennis ball. He likes to be petted, poses with a nice smile for the photo shoot and sits by my side for some bonding. Zeus is described as friendly, affectionate, playful and good with kids by his former owners. He would prefer female dogs and lived happily with one. Beautiful Zeus is hoping to start a new chapter in his life with you and be the forever best friend you have been dreaming of. Come and meet him soon at the Manhattan Care Center.
