Priority Placement Dogs

The purpose of the PPL is to give additional highlighted exposure to dogs in our care who need placement to be prioritized by partners and adopters. The PPL will appear in a spreadsheet-style format and be updated three times per week.

Criteria for Priority Placement

  • Dogs with a length of stay of 30+ days.

  • Dogs exhibiting changes in behavior including signs of deterioration.

  • Level 4 dogs between time of behavior assessment and 30 days in care.

  • New Hope Only dogs between time of assessment and one week in care.

  • DOH-Victim dogs
